  4. You will need to replace a:ed.* with your own text editor
  5. and sd2.* with your own directory lister.  Edit autoexec.bat
  6. to reflect these changes.

  8. The manual may be printed on any printer with 66 lines/page
  9. and that recognizes backspace/formfeed.  There are references
  10. listed at the end of the manual which might be useful for
  11. understanding IFP.

  13. IFP is in the public domain, so feel free to distribute copies.

  17. Notes on copying IFP from UNIX to MSDOS:
  18.  
  19.     If you obtained IFP on an MSDOS disk, ignore this section.
  20.  
  21.     The ifp directory represents your current drive, i.e. ifp/tmp
  22.     should be c:/tmp (or some other drive) on your MSDOS system.
  23.  
  24.     Remember when copying ifp.exe from UNIX to DOS to not translate
  25.     newlines to cr/lf.  Most UNIX to DOS copying commands have an
  26.     option for avoiding this when copying binary file.
